People just want a fast fix.
I know that most people want a fast fix myself included.  When I started out trying to make money online several years ago I just wanted to make the fast buck.  I thought if I found the perfect program that I would just magically start making tons of money online.  I figured that all I had to do was find that one magic bullet and all of my money problems were over.  I was wrong now some people do get luck and the first venture they enter in to will make them rich but as many of you already know this is very rare.  I have spent 1000's and 1000's of dollars on the internet only to be disappointed and broke.  I have join so called gurus and learned that I knew more then they did.  What I am getting at is that there is no such thing as a magic bullet when it comes to making money online or offline.  The only thing that has worked for me is to treat everything that I do online as a business.  And what I mean is I don't get emotionally attached to the programs that I am involved in they are just a means to an end.  And that is what I recommend that anyone that is trying to succeed online.  Sit down a work out a budget only use money you can afford to tie up for several month or lose all together.  Because in any business you will have loses.  Think about Mac Donald's,  You know that there have to be times when they throw away food which is a lose.  But it is a calculated lose and you need to have calculated risk and loses as well.
You probably already know that if you do not get visitors to your site or offer page you will not make money.  But a lot of programs out there on internet will tell you that they have  the perfect program you will do virtually nothing and make millions.  But what they don't tell you is that it is try someone will be making those millions just not you.  Most business are pyramids even brick and mortar ones.  You have the employees at the bottom, supervisors next level, managers on the next, President, and last CEO's.  The Higher up the corporate ladder the more money you make.  The employees at the bottom do the most work and get paid the least, while everyone in the upper levels do less and get paid the most.  So the next time you say I am not joining that its a pyramid, think about how a corporation is set up they are all pyramids.  They just have a different name.  This is just the way the way the world works, don't complain about it use it to your advantage.  Learn as much as you can you will get to your goals.

I hope 2009 was a good year for everyone.  I know some of you like myself 2009 was a challenge.  It started out to be the worst year ever and ended up being one of the best years I have ever had.  It was not the best finacially but I learned so much that I feel that no matter what happens in the future I will be able to make money and pay my bills.  2010 is going to an Awesome year I know that I will still have challenges but I also know I have the mind set now that can get me through anything.  I am on my way to meeting all of my goals and will now have to set new ones.  In the coming year I believe that with all the hard work and hours I have put in, I will achieve more than I can imagine.  For those of you that have been following me thank you I really aperciate each and everyone of you.  I don't think that I could have made it this far without hearing that others are listening and that they understand me.  I know how hard it can be to try to convince other to try to do something to make money  when you are not making money or barely making any money.  That is why I like the types of programs that I have on my site you don't have to tell a single person about them and you will still make money.  After you are making money it is a whole lot easier to get others to listen and join.  We all know that we want join a program with someone that has had success with the venture that we are trying to get going.  I have joined tons of programs just because the offer on the was too good to pass up only to be disappointed because I couldn't recruit.  With the revshare and passive income sites that are available here on www.EarnWithJames.net you can make money first, then tell others, and that makes recruiting a lot easier.  People always want the assurance that they have someone that can help them because they have been there and done that.  I am not going to tell you that I have it all figured out and that I am a Guru because I'm not.  I'm just an ordinary guy that searched and searched, and still have a lot to learn.  But while I'm learning I have found ways to make money.  As time goes by I discover more and more about myself and in the process I hope to help others see that you don't have to be a "Guru"  to make money online you just have to find a way that allows you the ability to earn an learn.  You can do the same and most of the site listed here are FREE to join so you can see for yourself that this can work for you.  Just join the program of your choice learn as much as you can about the program.  When your are comfortable put a little money in and you're set. I would like to wish everyone happy holidays.  I really look forward to a great year in 2010.  If the new year is any thing like 2009 I believe that I will reach all the goals that I have set for the next 12 months.  I will be updating and revising my site as time goes on.  I have truly learned a tone of great things this past year and hope to learn a great deal more.  I feel that me getting laid off was the best thing that could have happened to me because I was able to just go for what I wanted to achieve.  I do wish that I could have had this drive and focus while I was working only because I would of had a little more money to work with.  But I also now know that when thing are going "Good" I get very complacent and tend to be more lacked.  When I lost my job I had to take the next step because I had to nobody was going to do it for me I had to get rid of the employee mentality and start thinking like the owner.  In this economy  you have to find multiple streams of income because you never know when one of them will dry up.  Well enough preaching for today I just want to wish everyone happy holiday and happy new year.

Today i want to talk about set backs and the reason for this is that I had a small one this week.  Now I have been telling you all about Mindset.  When I talk about mindset I like to always tell you the truth that you have to have a strong mindset to make it in business and life.  Today I am going to tell you about a slight set back that I had recently.  I have been so busy trying to get my sites viewed and help others get their sites up and running that I made a bone head mistake that cost me over $300.  I am human and I make mistakes just like everyone else but I was beginning to get a little full of myself.  I was starting to over extend myself and try to do things that I had no business doing and I got burned.  As you all know the holiday season is very busy and hectic (for those of you that celebrate). I have been trying to get all my shopping done and pay off some of my debt.  Well I paid a little too much one particular debt and wound up owing my bank over $300.  Well what happened was I paid the same bill twice I forgot that I had scheduled one payment and scheduled another.  I was also waiting on some funds from AlertPay.  Now the reason that this happened is this particular account I use for bills I only keep enough money in it to services my monthly bills.  I only balance it once a month, this way I don't want to spend any of the money.  Now if I had the wrong mindset I would have flipped out and got all upset and said that I am an idiot or how dumb can I be. But now days I just shrug it off and move on. Because I know that as long as I live I will always have setbacks and that it how I deal with them that makes all the difference.  So the next time you make a mistake don't beat yourself up over it just move on because it wasn't your first and it won't be your last.

Today I will go a little bit deeper in to changing your mind set.   I know some of you out there have tried to start a business in the past and the business failed.  I myself have started lots of business to only have them fail.  I have even tried to sale perfume and cologne. I quit the job that I had and started to try to sale perfume and cologne and all I made was $12 in two weeks.  I got lured in by the hype and the fact that I was tired of my job.  I didn't have the right mind set to sale those thing at that time, there were other that were making $50-$100 a day the same time that I made $12 in two weeks.  I had the mentality of and employee not an entrepreneur.  All I was thinking about was having money at the end of the week.  I never thought about how hard it was going to be,  and I don't mean physically but mentally challenging.  I thought it was going to be easy as pie.  I never really thought out what I was doing, I just saw $$$.  I ended up begging to get my old job back luckily I did.  My next venture I was going to  sale electronics online.  This time I took a couple of months to think about the cost and how I was  get this new business off the ground.  So after running the numbers and not quitting my job this time,  I started my new business this time I was making money but my mindset was still all wrong.  I took all of the money I made and put it back into the business and guess what happened my sales started to fall off and I had no money to offset the loss of sales so I closed up shop.  I was beginning to think that I was never going to reach my dreams.  I decided to that I was just going to stay at my current job and work towards getting my own store.  I went through all the the training classes the company offered got every promotion that I could.  All I would have to do now was come up with $25K and wait my turn to run a store for 9-18 months.  Now that doesn't seem like a lot of money or a long time to wait.  But at the time I was making $8.50 per hour and I had a wife and two children.  I couldn't be away from them for a year and a half just to make more money.   You see the only reason I was doing all this was to make more money.  Not to be happy or to have better life but just more money.  When I realized that the only reason that I was doing all of this I just started to look for a better paying job.  I found it and it I was good for a while.  Until one day I realized that I was not doing what I wanted to do, I wanted to be my own boss set my own schedule and have no ceiling on my income.  I started to look at opportunities online and offline,  but everything that I found was going to cost a lot of money and take a lot of time.  I would search for hours and hours everyday.  I knew that there had to be a way to make money from home without having to spent a lot of or money doing it.  About 3-4 years ago I got into the autosurf industry, and thought that I found what I was looking for all those years.  Well most of you know that the autosurf industry was full of scams.  I still hadn't changed my mindset all that I was seeing again was $$$.  I knew that some of the sites were too good to be true, but all that I saw was money and it got the best of me.  I was back to where I was a few years earlier.  Then one day I came across The Secret and my life started to change.  I started to find opportunities ever where I looked.  Now I am not going to tell you that I can manifest what ever I want I just a few hours but that slowly over time I have begun to see great changes. i started finding a few site that were paying and I jumped in and haven't looked back.  I have started to make more money meet more like minded people , and just be a happier person.  My wife can now be proud of me and I don't just make her mad by just spending money hoping that I will get rich one day.  She can now see what I have been trying to accomplish all these years.  Now I am not trying to say that once you change you mind set that everything will be all roses.  You will still have trials and tribulations but with the right mind set you will see past the hard time and realize that they are only temporary.  The trials that you go through will make you stronger.  You will start to see that sometimes you have to be torn down a little to be built up stronger.  Once you start to change your mindset you can change anything about your life you want.  I truly believe that mindset is everything.  You may fail at something but you can never be a failure.  You may not reach your goals on the first try but you have to try try try again and again until you reach your goals.  Once you have the mindset that I might not reach my goals the first try your world will truly open up and you will see things in a totally new light. I have been trying to make money online for a few years as I have stated in earlier posts.  But it wasn't until I started to change my mindset that I began to really see any changes.  I had always joined a program or two, and I just sat there hoping that by just joining and telling my friends and family that I was going to get rich.  While I was doing this I was still spending my money on things that did nothing but add to my pile of bills.  I was wanting to be a rich person while living as a poor person. I would get all excited about the thought of what I was going to do with all the money I was going to make, I pretty much had it all spent before I made a dime.  But what I didn't realize that I was just spinning my wheels.  All I was doing was dreaming, now don't get me wrong their is nothing wrong about having dreams.  If I never dreamed I probably wouldn't have started this website or blog.  What I am trying to get at is that your mindset is what must change in order for you to bring your dreams to reality.  The only difference between the rich and the poor is that the rich not only dream they act.  Their mindset is that when they get a check  they think of ways to make that money grow not, what hot new item they are going to buy.  The rich on payday buy things that are going to go up in value, or invest in thing that can make them more money. They don't worry about how much something is going to cost they think about how much money they will make.  Now I am not trying to say this is all the rich worry about, they have bills also but they find ways to have their investments pay their bills not their pay check.  The rich are also some of the most generous people in the world.  Bill Gates gives away $360 million dollars a year to charity. Oprah gives away almost $400 million dollars per year. They find thing that will offer value and grow, they think a little different.  When you change the way you feel about money you will learn that money is everywhere money is abundant not scarce.  If you believe that money is hard to get and easy to lose you will find it hard to make money.  This process is not one that you will be able to do over night, it will take time.  It has taken me nearly two years and I still haven't changed completely.  I am not trying to say that it can't be done in a shorter time but that it has taken me a long time and I am not quite done yet.  I have learned to realize that money is everywhere it may not be right in front of me, but with the internet I have begun to see that money is everywhere, no matter what country you live in.  With the internet you can get paid to do just about anything.  You can make money completing surveys, reading emails, selling energy drinks, or even watching YouTube videos and many others.  Pretty much anything goes on the internet.  My website should tell you that.  You can make money doing what ever you want to do online.  Listen people I know I am not an expert, but that is my point, you don't need to be an expert, guru or any other word for know-it-all.  You just have to have the mindset that you can and will make money.  Mindset is one of the biggest keys to unlocking your potential,  once you begin think a little bit differently, you will begin to see Great Changes.  Mindset is your key to change it you need a daily routine .  This could be standing in front of a mirror saying money isn't hard to get it easy and abundant everyday over and over. You could write on a piece of paper that you will be successful. There are a number of ways that you can do this.  You need to find the one that fits you.  I write down everyday what I am thankful for and set new goals for the week, this is what has helped me change my mindset.  When I think about what I have, it makes it a little bit easier to see how I can achieve more and more.  Don't dwell on what you don' t have think about what you are thankful for having.

I have had several people ask me why I join so many programs.  I one simple answer "It takes time".  What I mean by this is that if you want to make lasting income or residual income it takes time. You aren't going to create a lasting income in just a few days, granted you may make a good bit of money, but if you don't allow for a window of change you will not create anything that will last.  As we have all learned over this past year or so, you never know what the future holds. I have been trying to make money online for several years and I have been successful at times, while others times I have failed miserably. Now that I am taking my time to build multiply streams of income I am seeing greater results than I ever thought possible. I am not trying to tell you that you should join 100 programs but you should consider 3-5 well rounded programs.  By doing this  you should always have a good steady stream of income.   If one of your sources of income stops you still have several more you can use to grow to replace what you have lost. When you take your time you also learn that you don't need or want what you thought you couldn't live with out just a little while ago.  Your priorities will change and so will your goals.  Just be a little patient and you may discover that you have achieve goals you set years earlier you just didn't realize it yet.  I realized that I had set several goal in my teens and a few months ago I realized that I had achieved several of them and hadn't even known it.  One such goal way to get a motorcycle, which I have had 2.  Another was to own a Honda Passport, I have one with 22" rims ( bought it that way).  I had gotten lots of things that I wanted with out even realizing I had them until they were gone.  All I am trying to say is Time is the best thing you have when it comes to reaching a goal.  If you really want something just be patient and take a few steps toward your goal and you will get there.

Today I begin a new journey that I have been planning for a while. I have tried and tried to make money for years online. I have made money in the past but I have also lost lots of money as well. I have done just about everything you can imagine online to make money.  I've done MLM, Network Marketing, Auto Surfs... you name it I've tried it. What I have found is that its not always the program that doesn't work its me that is not working. I was think about just the destination and not focusing on the journey. What I mean by this is that you must have a plan if you want to be successful. If you don't plan then you are planning to fail. Also do not focus on just how much money you are going to spend on any given venture but instead focus on the return you will receive. These are the things that when I changed how I was looking at opportunities, that were presented to me that my income started to change.
